A lot of things in your village depends on your honour. How strong your men fight in battle, how hard your villages work, how bravely your units fight, ...

Your honour goes up at a steady, hourly rate. You cannot make it go up faster.

Luckely, your honour doesn't go down, unless you attack weak players. The decrease is based on how big the difference between the two village is. You only loose honour if the defending village is 50% smaller than your own village.

decrease = (attacking-rating / defending-rating) * 15

Mind that you do not lose honour if you counter-attack a village. Attacking a bigger village might have serious consequences.
